Borea Chair Outdoor

Overview

B&B Italia calls Borea, 2021, a stackable dining chair in painted aluminium for outdoor use, designed by Piero Lissoni. The page points to the lower part of the frame, which curves slightly outwards as it meets the ground.

Construction

• Frame: aluminium sheet and metal tube
• Cushioning: shaped polyurethane in different densities with polyester fibre; the sheet gives the padding as recycled PET fibre
• Cover: fabric from limited categories, listed 'with profile'
• Other parts: plastic ferrules and a waterproof PES cloth coated with PU on one side

Soft cushions

The sheet says the cushions are extremely soft and environmentally sustainable, with padding in polyester fibre (100%) that comes from recycled PET plastic bottles.
