Story
The Guild exhibition
The table was made for the 1950 furniture exhibition of the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild. Its name refers to the exhibition's 'Hunting Cabin' theme, which the page also links to the table's robustness and wood-focused design.
A narrow top
The page notes that the top is slightly narrow, which makes the table suitable for smaller spaces and for more intimate social gatherings. For larger dinner parties Carl Hansen & Søn adapted a 95 cm wide top.
