Description

Overview

Attico is Nicola Gallizia's programme of small tables and a taller table for Molteni&C. Its architectural character comes from a three-legged base, rounded corners and a choice of marble surfaces.

Construction

The base is cast aluminium with steel profiles and joints, finished in pewter colour with either a shiny chrome or satin brass profile. Non-slip plastic feet support the structure; the marble receives anti-stain and water-repellent treatments.

Specifications

  • ATV1 small table: Ø60 cm plan value; vertical value 46.7 cm
  • ATV2: 56.6 × 60 cm plan values; vertical value 46.7 cm
  • ATV3 table: Ø80 cm plan value; vertical value 64.3 cm

Story

An architectural programme

Molteni&C describes Attico as a rigorous and sophisticated system balancing contemporary design with a classic flavour. Its formal economy, careful detailing and light appearance allow the tables to occupy different positions without losing their recognizable profile.

Rhythm in the home

The official page treats the tables as instruments for arranging space: beside a sofa, at the centre of a seating group or in dialogue with other furniture. Across those uses, the recurring three-legged support establishes visual rhythm while the top introduces the selected stone.
