Construction
Side panels, tops and back panels are chipboard clad in eucalyptus or oak veneer, or melamine-faced and painted from the Molteni range. Fronts are 22 mm or 35 mm thick, glass doors have an extruded aluminium frame, and the base is either a plinth or a metal base of extruded aluminium with die-cast feet.

Story
Two bases
The datasheet gives the sideboard a dual base option: a floor-standing plinth, or a metal base for a lighter, more airy version. Molteni&C's page says the cast aluminium base gives the sideboard a sense of lightness while keeping its classic proportions.
