Story
A name meaning comfortable support
Assaya is a Marathi word that means to provide comfortable support and to create a pleasant feeling. The side table is one of three pieces that Satyendra Pakhalé designed for lives in a connected world, where the boundary between home and workplace is increasingly blurred.
One leg, two leathers
The table stands on a single steel leg whose profile is moulded. Saddle Extra leather wraps the top surface and the outer side of the leg, while the underside of the top and the inner side of the leg take Pelle Frau® leather or a fabric, so the two sides of the piece are upholstered separately.
