Overview
Ambit Workspace Solutions is a scalable offering of accessories for the sit-to-stand working environment, developed to integrate into Herman Miller's existing height-adjustable tables. Herman Miller introduced it in May 2023.
Components
Ambit is an accessory family, not a single table. The product vocabulary has five members: screen, shroud, storage, vertical cable management and cork tray. Screen and shroud attachments come in multiple configurations, and pedestal storage nests into the shroud.
Specifications
Dimensions are given on the individual component pages (Ambit Shroud, Ambit Screen, Ambit Storage); the family overview page lists none.
Story
Built around the table
Herman Miller says Ambit was developed to integrate with its existing portfolio of height-adjustable tables, so the accessories can be used across the office floorplate to shape the working day. It also stresses visual harmony, with style and texture shared between every element.
Introduced in May 2023
The release dated 9 May 2023 presents Ambit as a natural extension of its height-adjustable workspace portfolio, adding privacy, storage and organization to sit-to-stand work surfaces. The release names three existing tables the accessories are designed for: Renew, Nevi and Motia.
