Overview
Ambit Shroud is a modesty panel for sit-to-stand tables that adds visual privacy, hides personal items and shields the table base. It is part of Ambit Workspace Solutions.
Construction
The shroud acts as the foot of the height-adjustable table. Cords can be routed through its back, and the retrofit design lets users add, swap or remove a shroud without replacing the table or system.
Specifications
Every version is 22 in high. The laminate and veneer shrouds are 3.8 in wide and 22.9 to 28.9 in deep; the metal shroud is 3.2 in wide and 23 to 29 in deep.
Story
Part of Ambit
Herman Miller lists the Shroud with Ambit Screen, Ambit Storage, Ambit Vertical Cable Management and Ambit Cork Tray in the Ambit Workspace Solutions family of accessories for the sit-to-stand working environment.
Working with the table
The company says Ambit Storage nests into the under-desk privacy panel, and that an optional toolbar on the shroud holds a bag hook, a small shelf or a document holder. The May 2023 announcement describes the privacy attachment as a place for hooks and document holders.
