Description

Overview

Amber is a family of low units by Christophe Delcourt for Minotti. They develop a quarter, an eighth and a sixteenth of a circle into three-dimensional elements and give the impression of modular furniture with countless configurations. They can stand alone or be part of an arrangement.

Construction

The frame is MDF with brushed wenge veneer in an open-pore Moka lacquer finish, covered on three sides by a 3 mm metal sheet in matt Malt. Some sizes carry an interior divider in Zebrino marble or in glossy Warm Grey lacquer. The base is MDF in matt Malt with adjustable feet.

Specifications

  • Height 36 cm, common to every element

Story

Forms that twist and turn in the space

Amber starts from a quarter, an eighth and a sixteenth of a circle that become three-dimensional elements. The low units flaunt forms that twist and turn in the space, and each can serve as an individual feature or join a seating system, creating contrasts between hard and soft materials.

A landscape for the living room

Placed in the centre of the room, Amber breaks the linear layout and links the various features of the interior. Combined with the Daniels seating system, it creates domino arrangements that read like a true landscape design project for interiors.
