Overview
Alcove Work combines an upholstered seat with an integrated writing tablet. Highback offers stronger visual and acoustic separation; Lowback retains more contact with its surroundings.
Construction
Firm work upholstery supports an upright posture. The configured tablet can be placed to the right or left and can be ordered with power and data options.

Story
A retreat for one
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec introduced Alcove Work in 2010, with an update in 2021. The high version reduces visibility and sound around the sitter, while the lower model makes interaction easier.
Individual seats that can gather
Vitra notes that several Lowback units can be grouped to create a meeting arrangement without a separate conference table.
