Story
From coffee pods to a console
The data sheet carries the title A.I. CONSOLE 2023, credits the design to Philippe Starck powered by illy, and marks it with a New sustainable material badge. A second raw material, it says, is made from post-industrial waste pods that are ground and returned to granule form, then injected into the Kartell mould. It states that reaching the required quality took almost two years.
A central leg
The page describes the console as a unique piece of furniture that takes up the lines already recognisable in the A.I. family, styled with a central leg, and it presents the piece as an idea of elegance of artificial intelligence in search of the minimum.
