Description

Overview

The Abigail Rectangular Table is a marble-topped dining table by Roberto Lazzeroni, designed in 2025. It is a minimalist project with great formal clarity: a rectangular marble top with beveled corners that lets the material speak for itself.

Construction

  • Top: marble, 2 cm thick, with a perimeter that is carefully rounded; the underside is reinforced with a technical mesh
  • Top finishes: polished, semi-polished or natural glossy
  • Frame: black-painted steel tubing carries the top
  • Legs: four solid ash legs with a triangular cross-section, tapered towards the top; felt glides protect the floor
  • Details: exposed structural metal parts in black-painted steel

Specifications

  • Overall height: 75.5 cm

Story

From dining table to sculpture

Abigail takes the traditional dining table and turns it into an elegant, stylised sculpture. Artisan cabinet work is joined with cutting-edge milling technologies, and the advanced, complex woodworking allows the table to keep a unique aesthetic.

A top that seems to float

The solid wood legs look tapered and light. The whole perimeter of the marble top is rounded with great care, and a sinuous joint with the base makes the top seem almost to float. The essential lines and organic shapes convey a sense of welcome and informal conviviality.
