Studio Klass

Background

Studio Klass is a Milan consultancy for design and creative direction. Marco Maturo and Alessio Roscini founded it in 2009, and Molteni&C says it focuses on product design and art direction for leading international companies. The studio's own site describes work across product design, creative direction and interior design, from industrial products to spatial and brand experiences, for companies, manufacturers and cultural institutions.

The line Molteni&C gives for the studio is "Designing means linking abstract knowledge to everyday life."

Notable Works

Molteni&C lists six Studio Klass entries: the Gliss Master Meridian doors, the Parallel and Vetra wardrobes and walk-in closets, the Arial and Sincro boiserie and doors, and the Touch Down Unit desk. According to Molteni&C, the Touch Down Unit came out of a collaboration with UniFor that started in 2017, and it opened a new kind of workstation for mobile work.

Legacy

Molteni&C credits the studio with several awards: the Red Dot Award, a place in the ADI Design Index, the German Design Award and the iF Design Award. It adds that since 2020 the studio has been Creative Director for UniFor and Citterio, and that the AD100 list named it in 2025 and again in 2026.
