Studio Juju

Background

Studio Juju is a design studio of Priscilla Lui and Timo Wong, who are trained in industrial design. It works across furniture and objects, industrial design, spaces, research and conceptual projects. In 2023 the two established O Design Office to develop spatial design and research alongside the studio.

Signature Style

Fresh perspectives and emotional connection guide the studio, and each project joins simplicity with warmth, utility with whimsy, and refinement with relevance. It aims for pleasant experiences built on essence and simplicity, with every work distinct, relevant and thoughtful.

Notable Works

For Living Divani the studio designed the Rabbit & the Tortoise Collection, a family of seven tables of different shapes and sizes in laser-cut steel with tubular steel legs, offered for indoor and outdoor use. The collection was awarded the Singapore President's Design Award, Design of the Year, in 2014. Living Divani, Desalto and W Hotels Worldwide are named among its international collaborations.

Legacy

In 2011 Design Miami/ Basel honoured the studio as Designers of the Future, and it received the Design Report Award at SaloneSatellite the same year. It later appeared in Phaidon's 2024 book Designed for Life: The World's Best Product Designers, a survey of 100 creative and innovative product designers.
