PearsonLloydは、ロンドンを拠点とするデザインスタジオで、Luke PearsonとTom Lloydが共同で設立しました。二人は1991年に王立芸術大学（Royal College of Art）で出会い、1997年にスタジオを立ち上げました。現在も両名は同大学で教鞭をとっています。

デザインの特徴
スタジオのモットーは「Making design work（機能するデザインを生み出す）」です。掲げる役割は、世界に耳を傾け、人々の暮らしを向上させる機会を見つけることです。プロダクト、インテリア、サービスを通じて、グローバル化した世界の日常的な課題に応え、多様なメーカー、ブランド、公共機関と協働しています。
代表的な作品
Walter Knollのために手がけた、Lox、Kyo、Turtle、Healey、Oscar、Bob、そして初代Virgin Voyagesの客船向けに制作したSeabedコンバーチブル・ベッドソファです。
