背景
Lievore Altherr Molinaは、1991年にAlberto Lievore、Jeannette Altherr、Manel Molinaによって設立されました。1948年にブエノスアイレスで生まれたLievoreは、ブエノスアイレス大学で建築を学び、1977年にバルセロナへ移住しました。そこでGrupo Berenguerに参加し、1984年に自身のスタジオを開設しました。1991年には、Jeannette Altherr（1965年、ハイデルベルク生まれ）とManel Molina（1963年、バルセロナ生まれ）がスタジオに加わり、スタジオ名はLievore Altherr Molinaに改称されました。
デザインの特徴
Arperは、同スタジオのアプローチをヒューマニスト的だと表現しています。それは、機能、技術、そして文脈による制約から導かれた純粋で美しい形態への志向であり、家具、インテリア、プロダクト、パッケージデザインにまたがる学際的な手法によって実践されています。
