Collection Story
Origin
Vanity Fair is the armchair that Poltrona Frau calls the emblem of the company. The family has grown from the original armchair, with its ottoman and a baby version, to Vanity Fair XC, and then to numbered limited editions made with other creators.
Design Language
The original's deliberately volumetric configuration is the starting point: Vanity Fair XC adjusts its proportions, and the limited editions change the cover. The limited editions work through the upholstery: Vanity Fair XC Imagine Edition carries Fornasetti patterns of sun and clouds in 50 numbered pieces, and Vanity Fair XC In Motion carries a Futurist hand by Ivo Pannaggi in 40.
