Collection Story
Origin
Tweed is a family of tables by Garcia Cumini for Zanotta, launched in 2017 according to the Tweed Mini page. Zanotta introduces the designers as a creative couple who profess slow design, a search for balance in both the function and the soul of the object.
Design Language
The range is distinguished by an organic, irregular shape and a refined surface treatment that becomes its decorative feature. On the oak and walnut tables the top is worked diagonally, so the grain looks different depending on the point of view, and the diagonal line dividing the top is described as imitating a leaf.
