Collection Story

Origin

The range traces back to the Coco Chair, an earlier EOOS design for Matteo Grassi of Italy. Walter Knoll took it up as the Saddle Chair, with new dimensions and proportions.

Design Language

Continuous leather over a metal frame, polished and coloured edges, drawn seams and belt suspension in the seat. The press text calls the idea the elegance of resolute shapes.

Key Pieces

  • Saddle Chair, the classic chair
  • Saddle Barstool, the high version, also used as a stool without backrest
