Origin
Phileas is Philippe Nigro's seating designed for Ligne Roset. It challenges and surprises: Nigro combines cutting edge modernity with real personality and a strong visual identity close to the 'never-before-seen', while awakening nostalgic reminiscences that anchor it in historical continuity.
Design Language
The vertical quilting recalls the upholstery of 1950s automobile seats, banquettes from the Orient Express, English gentlemen's clubs, the novels of Agatha Christie and Jules Verne and the balloons of the Montgolfier brothers. The collection comes with 28 covering materials in 418 colours.
