Description
Overview
The Phileas Footstool, lacquered metal base, is the one-place piece of the Phileas seating that Philippe Nigro created for Ligne Roset.
Construction
The structure is mechanically-soldered steel with particleboard panels, clad in 200 g/m2 polyester quilting. Elastic webbing carries the seat, which has a Bultex polyurethane foam cushion of 38 kg/m3. Its base is steel with an epoxy finish, either satin black or satin bronze.

Seat and base
A high resilience Bultex polyurethane foam cushion of 38 kg/m3 (3.6 kPa) forms the seat, carried on elastic webbing. Under it, the steel base takes a satin black or satin bronze epoxy lacquer.
