Collection Story

Origin

GUBI describes the 1972 Multi-Lite Collection by Louis Weisdorf as representing the golden era of Danish design. It started with the pendant and now also includes floor, table, portable and wall lamps.

Design Language

Each lamp is built from a metal ring, two concentric cylinders and a pair of rotating quarter-sphere shades. Turning the shades sends the light upwards, downwards or into asymmetric beams.
