Collection Story
Origin
Motta is a collection by Jasper Morrison for Magis. The chair and low tables date to 2025 and the stools to 2026. It is the result of a reunion with the designer after a break of several years, with Giandomenico Belotti's Spaghetti Chair as the reference for a light chair.
Design Language
A glossy painted steel tube frame, available in red, green, blue and brown, carries seats and backs in recycled polypropylene, natural oak plywood or fabric upholstery. The low tables pair the same frame with a natural veneered oak top.
