Story
A lightweight chair with vertical legs
Magis says the chair began as a conversation with Jasper Morrison, a meeting of old friends after a break of several years. Morrison cited Giandomenico Belotti's Spaghetti Chair as a reference point for a lightweight chair with vertical legs and reduced bulk, and the Magis team set to work from that idea.
A name from the first Magis headquarters
The name comes from Motta di Livenza, the original headquarters of Magis, and honours the place of that meeting. Magis describes the clean lines and vertical structure of the chair as suited to different contexts.
