Collection Story
Origin
Mat is a seating collection by the studio Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen for Normann Copenhagen, presented in February 2024 after years of research that included hemp tests from 2008 onward.
Design Language
The shell is made from hemp, or hemp with added eelgrass, on a steel or beech base, with a minimalistic silhouette and front or full upholstery.
