Overview
Mat Barstool is the bar-height seat of the Mat collection from Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen, introduced in 2024 by Normann Copenhagen. It is listed in 65 cm and 75 cm seat heights, with a shell of hemp or of hemp with added eelgrass.
Construction
The legs of the measured version, Mat Barstool 65 cm Beech/Cream (609213), are made of FSC certified beech plywood, with plywood from other controlled sources also named. A steel base in Cream is also listed, and full or front upholstery is available.

Story
Bar seating in the Mat collection
Normann Copenhagen introduced Mat in February 2024 as a chair collection whose shells use hemp, with eelgrass as a second version. The barstool brings the collection to bar height, in 65 cm and 75 cm versions. Full or front upholstery can be chosen for every variant.
