Origin

Poliform says the Mad collection evolved from the Mad Chair, an armchair with harmonious, enveloping lines designed by Studio Marcel Wanders in 2014. The Mad Queen and the Mad King, both dated 2015, and the Mad Joker and the Mad Chaise Longue, both dated 2016, are the other members on the Poliform product pages.

Shared features

The Mad Chair, Mad Queen, Mad Joker and Mad Chaise Longue pages say that different finishes can be chosen for the outside shell and for the seat inside, in fabric or leather. The Mad Chair and the Mad Queen are both described with a matelassé inner seat.
