Collection Story
Origin
Kartell shows Lillybet, designed by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba. Its Salone del Mobile 2025 page presents it with a floral jacquard upholstery created with the help of artificial intelligence, and the Salone del Mobile 2026 page for the Struttura project adds bouclé and velvet versions with contrasting piping.
Design Language
Kartell's Lillybet pages describe traditional decorative elements given a contemporary look: a design built on a dialogue between past and innovation, in which the outline of a classic chair is reinterpreted with more lightness. The frame is recycled technopolymer, and the fabric covering is the part chosen to allow different aesthetic readings, from the floral jacquard to bouclé and velvet with a contrasting cord, the last two presented as suited to indoor use. The 2025 text describes a seat that merges past and future, starting from historical decorative elements and renewing them without betraying their origins.
