Collection Story
Origin
Jaan 780 is a seating and table program that EOOS designed for Walter Knoll. EOOS conceived Jaan as a flexible, extendable system that can be combined individually, and the 780 range gathers a sofa, an armchair, occasional tables and compact servers with glass tops. The design trio's careers began in Herrenberg at Walter Knoll, and numerous products have been realized together. The range is meant for a unisex interior that joins designs for the worlds of living and of the office.
Design Language
Straightness and harmony meet charm and powerfulness in a compact cube that sits on tall, slender legs, so that lightness and weight stay in balance. The seat and back cushions are fixed, and fine felled seams mark the finishing. The legs are aluminium extrusion feet in die-cast aluminium, finished highly polished, in a matt black powder coat or in a matt bronze powder coat, and the tables repeat these three finishes in their aluminium frames.
