Collection Story
Origin
Gruuve is a Moroso collection by Patricia Urquiola an evolution of the independent seats of the earlier Lowseat system. It is sturdier than its predecessor, with rounded outlines that run to the floor, and its range includes a sofa system, a chaise longue and Gruuvelot.
Design Language
The collection takes its cue from the 1970s and turns a nonconformist temperament into a free-composition sofa. Flowing, irregular lines give a feeling of movement, and a conventional seat at the front is paired with a casual one along the back.
Key Pieces
The Gruuve sofa system, the Gruuve chaise longue and Gruuvelot, a set of six elements for the Gruuve system.
