Collection Story
A domestic atlas
Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 designed the Elas seats for Minotti. The official page calls the family a domestic atlas of feminine design, a tribute to women whose vision and rigour shaped creative culture, architecture and contemporary art during the early twentieth century. The idea of the home behind it is discerning, sensitive and profoundly human, and the family starts from a close connection with material.
The indoor range
Three pieces make up the indoor family: a bergère, an armchair and a footstool. The shell is genuine wicker or fully upholstered, and the base is either a metal swivel with Bronze-finished spokes or a fixed wooden one. Two further models, a bergère with upholstered armrests and a compact variant, are never fixed: they have the swivel base only. Where wood is part of the model, an armrest holds a stone insert.

Elas Cord Outdoor
The outdoor version is a bergère with a leaf-shaped headrest, armchairs with a high or a low backrest, and a footstool. Its structure is solid teak, wicker-effect woven fibre in Mud or Honey shapes the seat and backrest, and a Titanium travertine insert is recessed in one wide armrest. One layer of cushioning rests on top.
