Collection Story

Origin

Luceplan describes Costanza as the lamp designed in 1986 by Paolo Rizzatto, whose modernity lies in recovering tradition with the tools and technologies of the present.

Technology

A removable polycarbonate sheet as the diffuser and a sensorial touch dimmer that switches the lamp and adjusts the light with a simple gesture.

Family

Floor, table, wall and suspension versions, Costanzina (1992), Lady Costanza, Grande Costanza and Grande Costanza Open Air; three new patterned white shades for the 40th anniversary.

Palettes

In 2013 Luceplan defined the Radieuse and Mezzo Tono colour palettes, by Studiopepe, for the matte diffusers.
