Collection Story
Origin
Belvedere is a chair by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba for Kartell. Kartell introduced it at Salone del Mobile 2024 together with the Albert table, and the designers' own page dates the Belvedere chair to 2024. At Salone del Mobile 2025 Kartell presented it again with a recycled plastic structure, and the Kartell Museum timeline lists the Belvedere chair and the Albert table under 2025.
Design Language
The 2024 text names Viennese straw and a carbon fibre frame as the two materials, and the designers describe a classic element combined with an extremely contemporary one. The 2025 text keeps the Viennese straw and swaps the frame for recycled plastic.
