Collection Story
Origin
Aston is Minotti's family of individual pieces by Rodolfo Dordoni, listed in the 2014 Collection. The family page names a sofa, daybed, armchairs, ottomans, stools and chairs for homes and hospitality settings, and describes a dialogue between indoors and outdoors.
Family idea
Minotti applies its retro statement specifically to the sofa, ottoman and daybed. Across that subset, the page names eloquent lines, conservative scale and painstaking construction as the common ideas. Aston and Aston "Cord" share design roots and an aesthetic language intended to carry a consistent style between interior and exterior settings.
