Collection Story

A contemporary reading of a traditional type

Flexform introduced Arnold in 2024 as a family of tables and coffee tables by Antonio Citterio. Clean lines give the group its overall order, while obliquely placed legs add movement. The visual weight of both tops and legs is intended to make the pieces appear solid.

Material continuity and contrast

Arnold begins with a single-material idea in veneered wood, then extends the tops to back-painted glass in combinations assigned to particular wood finishes. Legs remain solid wood in the same finish as the wooden top, and Flexform also specifies internal steel supports.

Shapes and heights

The family covers numerous shapes, dimensions and finishes. The coffee- and side-table technical range includes 22 codes, with versions identified at 35 or 42 centimetres high. Die-cast zama feet are available in six finishes and rest on felt pads.
