Description

Overview

Arnold is a 2024 dining table by Antonio Citterio. Flexform describes a contemporary reinterpretation of a traditional table, with angled legs that introduce movement and substantial top and leg volumes that convey solidity.

Construction

The top is offered in selected wood veneers or back-painted glass. Solid-wood legs match the corresponding wooden finish, while internal steel supports and metal reinforcement within the dining tables strengthen the structure. Die-cast zama feet sit on felt pads.

Specifications

Representative code: 02C586. Dimensions: 210 × 105 × 74 cm. The technical sheet also illustrates round, square, rectangular and dining-table formats.

Story

A traditional type in motion

Antonio Citterio's Arnold table starts with a familiar dining-table type and changes its character through the oblique placement of the legs. Flexform presents that inclination as the source of the design's dynamism, balanced by the visual density of the main volumes.

Controlled material combinations

Arnold began from a single-material idea, but the table programme also permits back-painted glass. Flexform assigns each glass colour to particular wood finishes, preserving a controlled relationship between top and supports rather than offering arbitrary combinations.
