Description

ZEHN table

Philipp Mainzer designed ZEHN as a solid-wood table with essential geometric forms. The official sheet lists lengths of 2400 and 3000 mm, each 1000 mm deep and 750 mm high. The two formats accommodate eight to ten people.

Solid oak

The 40 mm top is offered in oiled oak or white-pigmented waxed oak. A central panel supports the longer table, while the shorter version places this panel asymmetrically. Both choices retain the same substantial top and geometric construction.

Story

Geometric simplicity

ZEHN was designed in 2010. e15 presents the table through a sculptural appearance and essential geometry rather than decorative detail. Its broad top and three panel supports turn the construction into the principal visual idea.

Two arrangements

The position of the middle support responds to the selected length: centred on the 3000 mm table and offset on the 2400 mm version. This change gives each format its own balance while retaining the same material palette and 750 mm height.
