Story
Compasso d'Oro 2024
Zanotta's press release of 20 June 2024 says the ADI awarded Za:Za the XXVIII Compasso d'Oro for its innovative features and sustainability aspects, citing a construction system inspired by the hammock principle.
Designed to be taken apart
The release says the sofa is easily disassembled, uses recycled and recyclable materials and removes glue entirely. Individual pockets in a recycled polyester lining hold the padding layers, and regenerated polyester spheres minimise the polyurethane used.
