Overview
Yop is Arper's 2016 table series by Lievore Altherr Molina. Its essential geometry is designed to keep visual impact low while supporting residential and contract use.
Fixed or folding top
A central aluminium trestle carries round or square tops measuring from 60 to 80 cm across the collection. Yop is available as a fixed table or with a flipping mechanism for storage. Fenix® serves indoor applications, and HPL is also specified for outdoor placement.
Article 5743
Representative article 5743 combines a powder-coated aluminium structure with adjustable feet and a 1 cm Compact HPL top. The round top is Ø59 cm, the height is 72.5 cm, and the article can be fixed or fitted with the flipping mechanism.
Story
Functional lightness
Arper defines Yop through reduced visual weight and essential shapes. The central trestle keeps the perimeter open, giving the table a distinct identity from four-spoke companion tables while maintaining a compact footprint.
Change through the mechanism
The series gains flexibility from its two operating formats. A fixed version keeps the top in position, while the flip-top option allows tables to be stored when they are not required. Indoor and outdoor top choices extend that logic to different settings.
