Overview

The Yoko Cord Outdoor armchair is a Minotti piece by the duo Inoda+Sveje, made for outdoor use. It has a solid teak frame with a strung seat and backrest, and Bronze details on the frame.

Construction

• Loadbearing structure of solid teak with a natural finish, the wood stabilised in drying kilns; CNC-machined, with dowel joints and glue
• Seat and backrest in stainless steel with a polished Bronze powder coat, strung with 7 mm polyester fibre in 2 colours
• Seat fibre with a core insert in non-deformable Memory filament
• Seat cushion in variable-density polyurethane foam and water-repellent viscose fibre, attached to the structure by teak frogs and reversible
• Optional backrest cushion, also reversible and attached by teak frogs
• Completely removable cushion upholstery; the feet are adjustable and the glides are black polyethylene

Strung seat and backrest

The seat and backrest are strung with cord in Ecru or Dark Brown, and the soft cushions rest on it. The seat is strung in a balanced weave that gives the natural allure of handcrafted work, in line with the classic principles of stringing.

Teak frogs and a Bronze joint

A teak frog, applied in continuity with the finish of the frame, secures the cushions to the seat and the backrest. A Bronze detail marks the joint between the frame and the rear vertical legs, where a varnished Bronze colour button enhances the coupling.
