Description
Overview
Rodolfo Dordoni's Yang for Minotti is a modular seating system built from geometric elements with soft volumes. Its Offset elements have the backrest set off from the seat, and ottomans and Close side tables extend the arrangements. The sheet draws sofas from 180 to 290 cm wide, all 105 cm deep.

Construction
Plywood structure with elastic straps, polyurethane and Memory Foam padding, and channelled goose down cushions. Fabric or leather covers are removable. The base is extruded aluminium in a Pewter finish.
Specifications
Sofa 290 cm: 290 x 105 x 78 cm.
Story
Full and empty spaces
Minotti describes Yang as a young, dynamic seating system in which geometric lines form an original mix of soft volumes, laid out in an unconventional rhythm of full and empty spaces. The streamlined style is paired with a wide freedom of seating arrangements, intended for a young public.
Posture and detail
The headrest is designed to give vertical support and encourage a good posture when reading and relaxing, finished with fine Cambré stitching. The base is a rigorous, architectural element, its front section a simple Pewter-coloured aluminium bar.
