Story
An archive table
The page's description opens with "Originally designed in 1959" and says the table was revived from family archives. It presents it as the high point of Hvidt & Mølgaard's work as creative collaborators.
Beside the X chair
The table is based on the principles of the X chair, for which it was first created as a complement, and shows the same sloping frame. The page traces its design to ancient Egyptian folding chairs.
