Overview
Wim is a 2016 table collection by Lievore Altherr Molina. Arper frames it as a companion to its seating catalogue: compact enough to work alone and composed so several tables can be grouped in commercial or contract settings.
Four-spoke construction
The range places round or square tops on a four-spoke aluminium base. Arper labels the collection height bands as 74 and 105 cm, with tops from 60 to 90 cm. Fenix® is specified for indoor tops, while HPL extends the range outdoors.
Article 5554
Representative article 5554 is a round table with a powder-coated aluminium structure and adjustable feet. Its Compact HPL top is Ø79 cm and 1 cm thick; the exact article page states a height of 72.5 cm.
Story
A companion piece
Rather than presenting Wim as a dominant object, Arper describes an archetypal table pared back to essential components. Its identity comes from proportion and the meeting of a compact top with a four-spoke base.
One table or a group
The collection is intended to stand alone or repeat beside different seating types. Round and square tops, two height bands and indoor or outdoor top options give that restrained form several roles without changing its basic character.
