Overview
The Weekday Table, designed by Hannes & Fritz for HAY, is a solid pine outdoor table conceived around communal dining. Its joints are softly rounded.
Construction
The table follows the construction of the classic picnic table, with planks of strong, durable pine that patinate. A water-based, weather-resistant surface treatment, applied as a primer and a two-layer coating, protects the pine outdoors. The leg sections and top are pre-assembled, and the table is designed to be knocked down.

Story
