Story
Iroko that matures outdoors
The natural iroko finish matures over time and acquires warm tones and complements a timeless piece that can age in the open air. Ageing is a natural and fairly rapid process that tends to make iroko more homogeneous.
Colour and veining of solid wood
Like most kinds of wood, iroko does not have uniform colour and veining, so nuances of colour that are not perfectly harmonious can appear. These nuances are a valuable asset of solid wood rather than a defect, and the initial shade can differ noticeably with geographic location after sun exposure and ageing.
