Description
Overview
The Warhol "Dark Brown" Outdoor armchair is a Minotti design by Rodolfo Dordoni and Roberto Minotti. A dark brown iroko finish and a Mali pied-de-poule textile covering emphasize the elegance of an armchair with a compact footprint and sleek design.
Construction
The structure is solid kiln-dried iroko cut to 120x35 mm, with a metal counter-frame painted for outdoor use. The wood is machined numerically, assembled at 45° with interlocking joints and finished by hand, then stained dark brown and sealed with protective paint at a 35 level gloss. UV-resistant woven elastic straps combine synthetic rubber with polypropylene. Anodized aluminium blocks in the matching colour form the base.
Specifications
- Overall size: 75 x 80 cm (D x H)
- Seat and backrest cushions in polyurethane foam with water-repellent polyester covers
- Cushion covers completely removable
Story
Dark brown iroko
The Warhol "Dark Brown" Outdoor armchair has a compact footprint and sleek design. Its iroko is stained dark brown, and the textile covering is a Mali pied-de-poule that emphasizes its elegance.
A base that keeps the wood off the ground
The base rests on anodized aluminium blocks perfectly matched to the colour of the wood. This avoids direct contact of the wood with the ground, which prevents it from absorbing moisture. Iroko is a natural material, so grain and shade can vary from piece to piece.
