Overview
The Vester Chair is a dining chair designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm and described by Fritz Hansen as discretely elegant and understated. Its body is 100% FSC-certified oak in a golden oiled finish, set against fine brass detailing.
Construction
- Body in oiled 100% FSC-certified oak
- Transverse brass rod at the back that indicates where to pull out the chair
- Legs that continue up into the backrest and form a small hook for a purse or small item

Story
Made for a seaside hotel
The Vester Chair was developed and produced for the Danish seaside hotel Svinkløv Badehotel, in collaboration with Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm. It won the Furniture of the Year award at the Danish Design Awards 2020.
Dated 2019 by its designer
Halstrøm's own website lists the Vester chair under 2019 and repeats that it was originally made for the Svinkløv hotel in the north of Denmark.
