Description
Overview
Valmer is a square outdoor low table by Guggenbichlerdesign. A thin dark top spans rounded tubular legs, while an open braided shelf fills the space below.
Construction
Its aluminium frame carries a charcoal-coloured lacquer. The lower shelf is woven from grey rope made entirely from polypropylene and spans the rails beneath the tabletop.
Dimensions
The low table measures 870 x 870 x 410 mm (W x D x H) and weighs 16.5 kg. These dimensions identify the broad low-table format rather than the smaller occasional table in the Valmer family.
Story
A table related to the Valmer seating
The low table repeats the rounded charcoal tubing and grey rope used by the Valmer settee. Its square top provides a broad surface while the braided lower plane creates open storage without closing the frame.
Rounded rails and woven shelf
The tubular structure bends continuously around the corners before supporting the top. Below it, parallel rope loops create a second level whose open construction allows air and light to pass through.
