Story
One mould, one block
Kartell's page describes Uncle Jack as the revolutionary single mould transparent polycarbonate sofa, and as the most daring example of injection moulding technology, 190 cm long in a single block.
Fifteen years of transparency
Kartell's museum page ties the sofa to the company's fifteen years of transparent products, a line it traces back to La Marie in 1999 and on to Louis Ghost and the Bourgie lamp. It calls Uncle Jack a record-breaking product, the largest piece of transparent polycarbonate ever injected in a single mould, and adds a Red Dot Award Best of the Best 2016.
