Two-Colour Table

Overview

The Two-Colour table series is by Muller Van Severen for HAY. It draws on the contrasts and similarities in the materials used, and is available in different shapes, sizes and colour combinations for settings from cafés to homes and offices.

Construction

The table has steel tube legs with a powder coated finish. The surface is coloured Valchromat, a robust MDF material that is FSC-certified (FSC-C148805) and finished with a water-based lacquer. Both components share an even thickness, giving a uniform silhouette.

Materials used at their best

Two-Colour is a table series inspired by the contrasts and similarities in the materials used. An even thickness unites the steel tube legs and the Valchromat top, and the colour contrast interrupts that uniform silhouette.

Designed by Muller Van Severen

The Belgian duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen founded Muller Van Severen in 2011. Their own website lists Two-Colour Table as produced by HAY and available in stores worldwide from November 2021.
