Perforated Cabinet

Overview

The Perforated Cabinet Floor is a floor-standing steel cabinet from HAY, defined by the colour, form and function that mark Muller Van Severen's work. Its semi-transparent holes subtly conceal the contents while keeping a sense of organisation.

At HAY

HAY's sheet says Muller Van Severen, founded in 2011, creates sculptural furniture that blurs the line between art and design. HAY's sheet credits the Perforated Cabinet to them and gives 2025 as the design year.

One collection, wall and floor

HAY's highlights describe a collection of versatile cabinets with a minimalistic design and a sleek grid pattern with a semi-transparent effect. The wall-mounted variant comes in one size and the free-standing cabinet in three sizes, and each has a secure magnetic closure.
